Derek Willis, a newcomer to Anadolu Efes Istanbul in the past summer, has unfortunately suffered another injury.

According to an announcement by the club, Willis has a broken nose, and he received the necessary care upon the diagnosis.

It is unknown how long Willis will stay out of the court or if he will have to stay out at all.

The power forward picked up this injury in the Turkish Basketball Super League's Round 20 match-up against Galatasaray EKMAS Istanbul last Sunday.

Even though he broke his nose in the second quarter, Willis continued to play and concluded the game with 12 points and 7 rebounds in a victory for his team, according to Keely Willis, his wife.

This is not the first time that Willis has suffered an injury this year. Previously, he had broken a finger in the EuroLeague Round 10 game against Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade, which kept him off the court for the next 10 rounds.

Even though this is only his rookie year in the EuroLeague, Willis has shown positive signs of adaptation to the continent's best basketball competition, averaging 8.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 10.2 PIR on 56.2% two-point shooting and 43.5% three-point shooting.
