Greek national team roster for Qualifiers window announced, no Sloukas / News - Basketnews.com

Naz Mitrou-Long is set to make his Greek NT debut. Overall, 12 EuroLeague players are on the list. Meanwhile, Sloukas, Papapetrou, and Dorsey were not included on the roster.

The Greek national team's head coach, Vassilis Spanoulis, presented a list of 16 players that will represent the nation in the upcoming EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers window in February.

The roster is highlighted by 12 EuroLeague players, mostly from Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens and Panathinaikos Piraeus.

Olympiacos guard Naz Mitrou-Long is featured for the first time in the player's career. He is the second naturalized player on the roster besides Thomas Walkup.

Kostas Sloukas, Ioannis Papapetrou, and Tyler Dorsey, meanwhile, will not represent the team in the Qualifiers during the break.

Greece will compete in Group G. The team will play against the Chech Republic (at home, Feb. 23rd, Piraeus) and the Netherlands (away, Feb. 26th, Den Haag) in the first qualifying window this month.
