Rubio has been included in Spain's 14-man roster for the upcoming EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers window in February. He is set to appear on the basketball court after not having played professional basketball due to personal issues for more than half a year.

After months of battling with psychological issues, Ricky Rubio is set to return to the basketball court one step at a time.

Following several weeks of practices with FC Barcelona, Rubio has been included in the Spanish national team's list for the upcoming EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers window in February.

Rubio has signed with FC Barcelona but hasn't appeared on a basketball court yet.

Ten EuroLeague players highlight the 14-man list, with only Sebastian Saiz (Alvark Tokyo) and Juancho Hernangomez (Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens) playing for clubs outside of Spain.

Interestingly, Juancho's brother, Willy Hernangomez, who became the EuroBasket 2022 MVP and currently plays for FC Barcelona, was not included in the list.

The full list includes six younger players (Sergio de Larrea,Hugo Gonzalez,Lucas Langarita,Eli Ndiaye,Jordi Rodriguez,Mario Saint-Supery) who will help others in practices throughout the preparation period this month.
