According to Lukas Malinauskas from BasketNews, the youngest of the four Antetokounmpo brothers will play for M Basket-Delamode Mazeikiai in the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL).
The club officially confirmed the information Wednesday morning.
Antetokounmpo last played for the Wisconsin Herd in the G League, averaging 5.7 points and 2.9 rebounds per game in 21.2 minutes of playing time. He was waived by the organization on February 8th.
The general manager of M Basket, Rolandas Jarutis, has been pursuing the 22-year-old Alex for several years now, Malinauskas notes, including the years when the former basketball player was the head of Rytas Vilnius, a club that plays in the Basketball Champions League (BCL).
The club from Mazeikiai is currently 6th in the LKL with 7 wins and 10 losses.
