Baron was sidelined with an elbow injury he aggravated in January after previously undergoing surgery for it in October. At the time, Milan announced Baron would be out for 2-3 weeks.
The 33-year-old played in just three EuroLeague games this season (vs ASVEL, Panathinaikos, and Baskonia in December), averaging 2.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 3.7 PIR per game.
Baron was one of the key role players last season, averaging 11 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 2.1 assists for 11.1 PIR per game during the 2022-23 season for Milan, his most productive season statistically in Baron's five-year EuroLeague career.
With 11 wins and 15 losses, Milan is currently 12th in the EuroLeague standings.
