The beef between Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green and Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic has seen a new development recently, with both players actively engaged in the matter, calling each other names and questioning their character.

The beef started when Green was ejected after he punched Nurkic during an NBA game between the two teams in December. After the matchup, the Bosnian big man said Draymond needed help, a comment that went viral online.

Even though Green initially apologized for the action, his outburst against Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert when the Golden State forward choked the French player, coupled with the punch to Nurkic, caused him to be suspended by the league.

On Saturday, February 10th, the two teams met again. That's when the beef started to gain ground. Namely, both Green and Nurkic showed 'too small' gestures toward one another while exchanging trash-talk moments during the match, and both players issued comments following the contest.

Green's punch to Nurkic that started the beef:

"It's sad. He didn't learn anything, man. It's just a matter of time [before] he's going to knock somebody else again. I take everything back what I said. He don't deserve a chance," Nurkic said after the game via Duane Rankin from The Arizona Republic.

"[Nurkic] can keep riding the same horse that he rode in on. He can ride his ass on out of here on the same horse. It ain't working," Green later responded in the press conference.

On Tuesday, February 13th, the beef took a turn when Green called Nurkic a '300 pound softy that can't finish games' when presenting the new episode of his podcast, The Draymond Green Show.

"Then he starts to question my character. What a coward. You go questioning character about a basketball game that you just lost, that you just go destroyed in, and the only thing you should talk about is how you got punished," Green said, calling Nurkic 'the little guy' throughout his entire speech.

Latest exchange between Nurkic and Green:

"15, 7, and 9, and you finished with a measly 6, 6, and 4. Four assists is a bright spot for him, so I'll give him that, but six and six... And then you go to the media and cry like that?"

Nurkic didn't let go of Green's words and reminded that the Warriors forward was forced to undergo counselling by the NBA due to his violent outbursts during games.

"All good bad boy just don’t stay to[o] long on podcast, gonna be late for therapy session," Nurkic posted on X, formerly Twitter.
