After triumphing over Unicaja Malaga in the Copa del Rey, the Spanish basketball cup, Guy had brief remarks about himself and his time in Panathinaikos.
"Some people forget who I am, so I decided to remind them," he said following a strong performance in the win, with 20 points, 3 rebounds, and 6 assists, and a game-closing shot that put Tenerife up by 6 with 34 seconds remaining at the end.
"We still have a long way to go; we only got one win," Guy stated, pointing to the remaining games in the Copa del Rey.
Guy then referred to his time in Panathinaikos in a way that allowed him to air his grievances.
"I don't know what happened with Panathinaikos. I'm happy here. I got minutes, and some wins," perhaps also lightly criticizing the fact that he was not given many chances in the Greek team.
In his first EuroLeague stint with Panathinaikos, Guy averaged 4 points and 2.4 PIR in just 8 games. He received 10 minutes and 38 seconds per game.
