Paris Basketball is having a season to remember, as they upset AS Monaco in the Leaders Cup semifinals with a score of 93-98.

Even though Monaco was leading the game with a score of 81-75 at the end of the third quarter, Paris mounted a 12-23 lead in the fourth quarter to kick the EuroLeague team out of the cup.

The team's star, T. J. Shorts, had a fantastic performance, scoring 23 points, pulling 1 rebound, and dishing out 5 assists. He was assisted by Nadir Hifi, Justin Simon, and Mehdy Ngouama, who each scored in double digits.

As for Monaco, the combined double-digit scoring of Mike James, Elie Okobo, Alpha Diallo, Yakuba Ouattara, and Donta Hall was not enough to bring the win.

This follows in the usual string of upsets during the annual European cup breaks. Previously, Virtus Segafredo Bologna, LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne, and ALBA Berlin were forced out of contention in their own domestic cups.

Paris will meet Nanterre 92, which beat out ASVEL in the quarterfinals and Mincidelice JL Bourg en Bresse in the semifinals, in the Leaders Cup final.
