According to the announcement, Partizan has reached a total revenue of €66,980,483.27 starting from the 2017-18 season. 27,008,538.82 euros, or 40.3% of this revenue, has come from government sources, while the club has won €39,971,944.45 on its own accord, which makes up the remaining 59.7% of the revenue.
This season, Partizan's budget is valued at €20 million, €6 million of which are donations from the government. The club states that half of this amount has been granted, while they are waiting for the other half to also be directed before the end of the season.
The black-and-white club has also revealed that they have paid €5.6 million in taxes this year. Tax payments constitute an issue of contention between Partizan and Crvena Zvezda, and the clubs' presidents usually criticize one another on this matter.
Partizan's announcement also includes a statement from Ostoja Mijailovic on the up-to-date status of the club's finances.
Lately, Partizan fell to its rival Crvena Zvezda in the 2024 Radivoj Korac Cup and remained cup-less after having last triumphed in this competition in the 2019-20 season.
Full statement from Mijailovic:
"I took over the club in 2017 in a very difficult financial situation, without organization, and in an overall bad state. After all the analyses, over 10 million euros of debt surfaced for the period before my arrival at the club. I am proud to say that this is the last year in which we have relapses of the past. The current season is extremely financially demanding for us. It is a season in which we have a 20 million euro budget for the sports sector, the organization of matches, and travel.
On top of all that, in this season we will pay off the entire tax debt. It is important that all Partizan fans should be aware that in addition to such large expenses, the club regularly pays salaries to all employees and regularly pays its obligations. In other words, there are no financial problems. Our goal for this season is to make it to the Top 8 of the EuroLeague and win the ABA League title. At this moment, we are in the game to achieve both sporting goals.
We must continue to fight together with our heads held high... I give my full support to the team and coaching staff to fight for our goals, and we will give an account to our fans at the end of the competition season. I am grateful to everyone who participates in this great project. There are challenges ahead of us, but I am convinced that we also have a secure future ahead of us. Partizan above all."
