Olympiacos Piraeus have secured the starting power forward Alec Peters with a contract extension through the 2025-26 season.

On July 5, 2023, Olympiacos exercised the option in their mutual contract.
Since Sasha Vezenkov's departure to the Sacramento Kings, Peters has been on the rise, averaging 14.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 16.1 PIR over 25 EuroLeague games this season.
To put this in perspective, during the previous season, Peters posted averages of 4.6 points and 4.5 PIR per game in the EuroLeague.
Peters began his professional path in the NBA and G-League during the 2017-18 season, splitting time between the Phoenix Suns and the Northern Arizona Suns.
He then went overseas in the 2018-19 season, playing for CSKA Moscow. His journey continued with stints at Anadolu Efes Istanbul (2019-20) and Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz (2020-22) before finding his current home in Greece.
