Additionally, Baskonia are striving to renew the contract of Maik Kotsar as well, Perez de Arrilucea adds.
Sedekerskis has been having a breakout year this season, averaging 9.8 points and 7.2 rebounds for 16 PIR per game in the EuroLeague, with his rebound tally being the second-best in the entire tournament, trailing only his teammate, Chima Moneke.
The Lithuanian forward has been sidelined for the entire month of February with a hamstring injury but is set to return the next week.
Kotsar, meanwhile, is registering 6.2 points and 3.5 rebounds in the EuroLeague this year. His best game of the season came just before the international break, when he scored 10 points and grabbed 9 rebounds for 26 PIR against Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv.
Both Sedekerskis and Kotsar's current deals are set to end after the 2023-24 season.
