The world silver medalist contributed 15 points to Serbia's success.

Post-game, a local journalist inquired him about the challenges of playing in front of a lively crowd at the Tbilisi Arena, especially during crucial moments of the game.

Marinkovic responded by reminiscing about his roots and professional journey.

"The audience was good. When Georgia closed the gap to four points, the fans were good. But if you ask me, I played in Partizan for years, and there is no crowd in the world that can compare to Partizan's. I played games in really good atmospheres," Marinkovic said, via Nikola Stojkovic of Mozzart Sport.

The 27-year-old spent six years as Partizan's first-team player from 2013 to 2019, in addition to two more years in the younger categories.
