Henry's Instagram announcement:
To my friends and family near and far,
I'd like to send the most heartfelt and sincerest appreciation for all of the patience, love, and support that you all have given me over the past year. While the FIBA panel has come to a ruling, I'd like you all to know that I do not agree with the ruling and will continue to fight to prove my innocence regarding this case by submitting an appeal. I can't begin to tell you how much I've missed the game, my fans, and teammates during this time away, but I want to reassure you that I haven't given up. I look forward to seeing all of you again.
Stay blessed.
A prohibited method is classified as one of three actions, one of which is "tampering, or attempting to tamper, to alter the integrity and validity of samples collected during doping control", the newly updated list writes.
Henry's suspension expires only on January 13th, 2027. The player will turn 34 the week after the ban expires.
