Kicking off the action, Maccabi took on the struggling ALBA and extended their difficulties by a huge 35-point win. Maccabi also ended their six-game road losing streak.
Following that, Virtus broke free from a recent slump, having lost three of its last five games. The Italian team hosted Valencia and defeated the Spanish team behind Marco Belinelli's 16 points.
Simultaneously, Partizan and Efes, two direct rivals fighting for playoff contention, faced off in a crucial matchup. The Serbian team defended their home-court edge and gained the head-to-head advantage over Efes.
Concluding the night, the reigning champion and league leader Real could not maintain dominance against third-placed Panathinaikos. PAO, having struggled historically against Los Blancos, terminated their 12 consecutive defeats in Madrid and won in the Spanish capital for the first time since 2013.
