The club released an announcement detailing the situation. Namely, the club explored the possibility of whether all three required factors for a transfer of some EuroLeague games would be met.

Barca determined that at least one of the three factors - the acceptance of the move by the club's members, the availability of the venue, and financial return - did not meet the required criteria. As such, the basketball club will not move to Palau Sant Jordi at any time in the upcoming future.

All upcoming basketball games will be played in Palau Blaugrana, the venue where they are currently being held.

Barca have already played regularly in Palau Sant Jordi in the early 1990s but relocated to Palau Blaugrana after struggling to fill the stands.
