First, Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul hosted Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz in what was the return game for Basque club's forward Tadas Sedekerskis following a month of being sidelined due to an injury. Despite the return, Fenerbahce cruised to a home victory, solidifying their stance in the standings.
Next, Zalgiris Kaunas welcomed Olympiacos Piraeus in hopes of extending the recent successful run after hiring head coach Andrea Trinchieri. However, Olympiacos dominated in the second half and brought back an easy win.
An hour later, LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne earned just their third home win in a game against EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, who competed without Nikola Mirotic.
FC Bayern Munich hosted Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade in what was a crucial matchup for both squads in order to reach the coveted 10th spot in the standings for the play-in. The home team ultimately took the win, overcoming both Serbian clubs in consecutive EuroLeague rounds.
Lastly, FC Barcelona welcomed AS Monaco in what was seen as arguably the biggest game of the season so far, as Ricky Rubio made his Barca debut, while Monaco's Mike James was just 29 points away from becoming EuroLeague's all-time top scorer, a feat that might have caused the game to be temporarily stopped.
However, James did not reach the coveted mark, while Rubio's comeback was not successful, as Barca fell at home for the first time this season.
