Clark became NCAA all-time leading scorer, surpassing the legendary Hall of Famer 'Pistol' Pete Maravich. The 22-year-old scoring phenom needed 18 points to break the 54-year-old record, and she reached the mark in the second quarter with a free throw after a technical foul.

Clark struggled at the beginning of the game, missing her first three shots, before hitting her first three-pointer, and finished the first quarter with six points on 2-for-7 shooting. However, Ohio State started the contest with 2-2-1 full-court pressure that allowed Clark to collect five assists in the first seven minutes.
