Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens head coach Ergin Ataman provided an update on the team's roster, specifically addressing the status of two injured players: guard Luca Vildoza and center Kostas Antetokounmpo.

Ataman shared that both players will not be available for the upcoming EuroLeague Round 28 game against LDCL ASVEL Villuerbanne on Friday.

"Both will not be ready for the match against Villeurbanne. Maybe they will be ready for the game against Olympiacos [next week]," Ataman said after Sunday's 96-73 win over Kolossos Rhodes, via SDNA.

Vildoza is grappling with a recurring issue in his left knee, which required surgery back in January.

On the other hand, Kostas Antetokounmpo, who exited the Greek national team's game against the Netherlands in the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers, is also dealing with knee problems.

As of now, Panathinaikos hold a record of 17 wins and 10 losses, placing them in a three-way tie for the 3rd spot in the EuroLeague standings alongside Monaco and Virtus.
