Currently, Shengelia is not at full readiness, but all indications suggest that he will join the Italian team on the trip. However, the final decision about his participation or absence in the match against Olympiacos will be made at the last moment.
Shengelia sustained an ankle injury during the EuroLeague game against Valencia Basket last Thursday, limiting his playing time to just 6 minutes.
On March 1, Virtus officially announced that Shengelia underwent an MRI test, which fortunately did not reveal any significant injury.
Throughout this season, the 32-year-old has averaged 13.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 17.4 PIR in 24 EuroLeague appearances.
The Olympiacos-Virtus game is scheduled for Thursday at 21:00 CET.
