New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson has previously participated in the All-Star Dunk Contest. He will take part in a future dunk competition only under one condition.

Even though he possesses one of the best jumping abilities in the entire league, Williamson has never participated in an NBA Dunk Contest before. He's ready to do it, he says.

"I gotta do my part and make the All-Star Game. If I'm in the All-Star Game, I'll do the dunk contest. But if I'm not, I'm not doing it," Williamson said after a 41-point win against the Toronto Raptors Tuesday night.

Zion attempts more than one dunk per game throughout his career, peaking at more than two a game during the 2020-21 season when he dunked the ball 123 times in 60 games.

Williamson's explosiveness has earned him the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. However, it has also contributed to multiple injuries the big man has suffered throughout the first four years of his NBA journey.

The Pelicans star has previously showcased his dunking potential during the 2020 Rising Stars Challenge during the All-Star Weekend when he and Ja Morant performed a series of impressive dunks during the game.
