On Thursday evening,Real Madridcould become the first team to clinch a playoff spot in the 2023-24 EuroLeague season.

Los Blancos will hostFenerbahce Beko Istanbuland try to snap their longest losing streak of the season, which stands at only 2 games.

An impressive EuroLeague 22-5 record allows Real to comfortably sit in first place in the standings, andDzanan Musais a big part of that.

In his secondseason with Real, Musa averages 13.7 points per game, 2.6 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 14.0 PIR per game in 27 EuroLeague appearances.

After being asked what led to Real Madrid's dominance this season, Musa has one word.

"Consistency," Musa said in a conversation withBasketNews. "I think for us, the most important thing is that we came in every game fighting like it was our last. We have good chemistry on and off the court. We are not satisfied with little things."

"We know that [our current form and EuroLeague record] is a great thing, but we have our goal on a bigger picture to win the EuroLeague. So, that's our goal this season. Clinching the playoffs is nice, but we haven't done anything with that yet," Musa added.

Even though there are at least 3 months left until the end of the season, Musa's future in Real is already gaining more traction.

After the 2023-24 campaign, Musa will enter the final year of his contract with the Spanish powerhouse. As Musa said himself, so far, his camp and Real Madrid have agreed on one thing.
