First, Anadolu Efes Istanbul hosted FC Bayern Munich as both clubs continued their fight for a spot in the play-in tournament. However, Efes won the third quarter by 19 points and went on to capture an easy victory at home.
Next, AS Monaco welcomed Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade in Salle Gaston Medecin. Monaco's superstar guard Mike James needed 12 points to surpass Vassilis Spanoulis as the top scorer in EuroLeague history. When James reached the mark in the second quarter, the game was stopped to commemorate the achievement.
Later on in the evening, Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv played against Zalgiris Kaunas in Belgrade and captured the win after a series of mistakes by the guests in the last two minutes of the fourth quarter.
Valencia Basket matched up against FC Barcelona in a Spanish duel in hopes of improving their position in the standings, but Barca dominated in the second half and earned a well-deserved win.
After losing last week, Real Madrid looked to bounce back in a home game against Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul. However, Sarunas Jasikevicius' team led almost the entire game and gave Real Madrid their third loss in a row.
Nick Calathes needed just one steal to become the EuroLeague's all-time leader in the category, but he fell short despite an otherwise good performance. The game featured a scuffle between him and Facundo Campazzo, though, but the players ultimately hugged it out after the game.
To finish the evening, Olympiacos Piraeus battled against Virtus Segafredo Bologna. Although Virtus led by 9 entering the half, they scored just 5 points in the third quarter, and Olympiacos rode to the victory following the momentum.
