With the club's budget being close to 90 million Israeli shekels (~23 million euros), the loss will provide a significant dent in Maccabi's financials.
Maccabi sell out around 10,000 season tickets each season, which provide close to half of the club's yearly budget, according to estimates. The rest of the tickets are sold on a game-to-game basis. The club earns around 5.6 million Israeli shekels from such tickets each year.
While Maccabi haven't officially established a refund policy, the organization is estimated to lose around 10 million shekels (~2.56 million euros) from unsold match day tickets and season ticket refunds, as every 10% of season ticket refunds will cost around 5 million Israeli shekels (~1.3 million euros), Givati reports.
Depending on the season ticket refund policy the club implements, the total losses might increase.
Additionally, around 5 million Israeli shekels (~1.3 million euros) will be allocated for expenses related to the team's move to Belgrade, which includes accommodation, flights, and other expenses.
Despite playing without their famous home crowd, Maccabi have a solid home game balance of 10 wins and only 4 losses. With 15 wins and 13 losses, the Israeli team is currently 8th in the EuroLeague standings.
