With under a minute left in the game, Sengun contested a fast-break layup by Kings' Domantas Sabonis. Following the defensive play, the Turkish center landed awkwardly on his right leg.
As Sengun was landing, his right knee collapsed, and the big man fell on his back twisting it. The 21-year-old immediately grabbed his knee following the fall, screaming in pain. Sengun was carted off the court in a wheelchair.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN, Sengun will undergo MRI on both his right knee and ankle on Monday to determine the extent of the injury.
In his third year in the league, Sengun was playing his best season yet, averaging 21.2 points, 9.4 rebounds, 5 assists, and 1.2 steals per game for the Rockets.
