This was the fewest points the Knicks scored in a loss since 2018. The Knicks shot just 32.5% from the court - the worst field goal percentage in a loss in two seasons, making just 22.5% of triples and 75% of free throws.
"Missed shots, didn't get in a good rhythm. Turnovers were out of hand. It was a unique game," Hart told the media in the locker room after the game.
Asked to expand on the notion that it was a unique game, Hart didn't mince any words.
"We played like sh*t. That," he said. "Like I said, we obviously didn't shoot the ball well. Turnovers were bad, I think I had 6 or 7 myself. You know... You just have to try to flush it. Got them again on Tuesday, [we have to] try to come out and play better."
Hart had 6 turnovers, while the entire team committed 19. Only three players - Jalen Brunson (19), Dante DiVincenzo (15), and Bojan Bogdanovic (10) - scored in double digits.
After the loss, the Knicks are currently 4th in the Eastern Conference with 37 wins and 27 losses in their account.
