The 45-year-old coach had previously signed a four-year contract in 2021. After the new deal, Mosley will remain with the Magic until the end of the 2027-28 season.
With Mosley under the helm, the Magic went from being a bottom-three team in East last year to a 4th place in the standings this season. At the same time, Paolo Banchero became an All-Star in his second year in the league.
Mosley has been the head coach of the team since 2021. With him as head coach, Orlando's record improved every season, most notably jumping from 22 to 34 wins in 2023. With a third of the season remaining, the team has already surpassed last year's win total.
