In an interview with the EuroLeague, the Serbian sharpshooter touched upon Fenerbahce and Partizan and their potential to make it to the Final Four.
"I love that Partizan is back in the EuroLeague. I feel like the EuroLeague needs that; basketball needs that. It's such a unique place to play in [Stark Arena], the ambiance and everything," said Bogdanovic.
"And you can just tell from the guys who play there, and when they leave the place, their comments are everything you need to know and everything you need to know about that place. Nothing but the best," he said, praising his former club.
The shooting guard was then asked about his thoughts on the coaching change in Fenerbahce, which saw Dimitris Itoudis being sacked in favor of Sarunas Jasikevicius.
"In my career, whenever the new coach comes in, it's been always a positive thing for the teams because there is a reaction [from the players]," the guard said.
"I feel like Saras [Jasikevicius] is also experienced; this is his second team in the EuroLeague. He's definitely coaching differently, and I like the way he coaches. I like the way they play. I think they can play faster," he issued a recommendation to the Turkish team. "They can play way faster, but he will get them right."
Lastly, the Serbian star was asked about whether Partizan and Fenerbahce would be able to make it to the Final Four, the most coveted annual event of European club basketball.
"Partizan needs to step up a little bit to play in the Final Four. Right now, I think they are fighting for the 10th spot, but I really want to see that," he stated.
"I have missed a couple of games because I had practice or something here, but whenever I have a chance to watch Partizan and Fenerbahce, [they're] one of my favorite games to watch," Bogdanovic concluded, reiterating his proximity to EuroLeague basketball.
Playing in the EuroLeague in the 2010-2017 period, the shooting guard became champion in 2017 while also accumulating numerous individual records.
Not only was he the Rising Star in the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons, but he was also named to the All-EuroLeague First Team for the 2016-17 season and made it to the 2010-20 All-Decade Team.
