The Sacramento Kings defeated the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night and repeated history.

With the 120-107 win, the Kings won their fourth game in a row against the Lakers this season, sweeping the season series. It is only the third such time in franchise history.

Previously, the Kings swept the Lakers during the 1993-94 season (post-Magic Johnson Lakers) and 2015-16 season (Kobe Bryant's last season in the NBA). However, the total point difference is the smallest this year out of the three - 43 compared to 48 (2015-16) and 50 (1993-94).

Davis became infamous recently for his struggles against European centers throughout his career, and Wednesday's matchup did not help to prove the critics wrong. The loss marked the 10th straight defeat for Lakers center Anthony Davis against Kings' Domantas Sabonis.

Sabonis notched a triple-double of 17 points, 19 rebounds, and 10 assists, while Davis finished the game with 22 points and 10 rebounds on just 7-for-18 shooting.

While Davis leads the direct head-to-head matchup against Sabonis in points (23.1 to 13.3) and rebounds (9.8 to 9.6), the Lithuanian big man has significant leads in field goal percentage (60.8% to 46.2%), three-point percentage (40% to 35.7%), and assists (4.5 to 2.3).
