With Billy Baron ending his season prematurely and the exit of Rodney McGruder, EA7 Emporio Armani Milan have added a new guard to their roster inDenzel Valentine.

The 30-year-old comes from the Sydney Kings and the Australian NBL, where he averaged 12.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 36.6% from distance. His contract runs until the end of the season and the player is expected Wednesday for medical tests.

Over 256 games in his time in the NBA, Valentine averaged 7 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.8 assists, after being the 14th pick of the 2016 draft.

His last year in the NBA dates back to the 2021/22 season, when he played with the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Utah Jazz. He spent last year with the Maine Celtics in the G League, averaging 14.4 points, 8.1 rebounds and 5.6 assists in 33.7 minutes and shooting 38.8% from three.
