DeMarcus Cousins returns to Taiwan after signing a month-and-a-half deal to bolster the Taiwan Beer Leopards' lineup for their playoff campaign.

DeMarcus Cousins, a four-time NBA All-Star, has inked a month-and-a-half deal to rejoin the Taiwan Beer Leopards, as reported by Marc Stein.

Returning to Taiwan, Cousins aims to bolster the Beer Leopards' lineup for the remainder of the 2023-24 season.

Previously, Cousins had played for the Beer Leopards, featuring in four home games this season. During these appearances, he averaged 22.0 points and 11.8 rebounds per game.

The agreement was finalized on Tuesday, with Cousins slated to make his return to Taiwan to help the team in their playoff campaign. Currently, the Beer Leopards boast an 11-8 record, securing third place in the T1 League standings.

Drafted fifth overall in the 2010 NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings, Cousins swiftly became a key player for the franchise, earning three All-Star nods during his tenure.

Subsequently, he played for various NBA teams, including the Pelicans, Warriors, Rockets, Clippers, Bucks, and Nuggets.
