The night kicked off as Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul (19-11) hosted FC Barcelona (20-10). The Turkish team continued its strong form and had its fourth victory in a row against Spanish teams, having beaten Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz, Real Madrid, and Valencia Basket before.
Later on, EA7 Emporio Armani Milan (13-17) protected its play-in chances in a visit to AS Monaco (19-11). The Italian squad proved offensively dominant, blowing out Monaco, the 8-game winning streak of which was snapped as a result.
The third game of the night took place between Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade (10-20) and Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens (19-11). Milos Teodosic returned for Crvena Zvezda, but his efforts were unable to prevent a blowout loss at the hands of Mathias Lessort and Kostas Sloukas, who both had amazing performances.
Round 30 ended with a crucial match-up for the coveted play-in spots between Valencia (14-16) and FC Bayern Munich. The game went down to the wire, but even though Bayern (13-17) had a clear look at a game-winner, Vladimir Lucic missed, and the game went Valencia's way. The Spanish also claimed the points differential between the two teams, which will be crucial for the final standings.
