To begin the night, Anadolu Efes Istanbul completed a perfect double week against ALBA Berlin. Although Efes was up by double digits at the end of the first half, ALBA made a comeback, and the Turkish team was saved by a game-winning block by Tyrique Jones in the last possession.
After the opener, Zalgiris Kaunas continued its final push for the play-in by downing Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz with an 18-point differential. Although Zalgiris made perfect use of the double week, Baskonia went 0-2.
Later on, LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne visited Olympiacos Piraeus. Even though ASVEL stayed very much in contention until the end of the game, Olympiacos maintained its nerves and closed the double week on a high note after a blowout loss to Anadolu Efes on Tuesday.
The night ended in Belgrade, Serbia, with a rematch between last season's playoff rivals, Partizan and Real Madrid. The royalty team used a strong third quarter and a great scoring performance from Mario Hezonja to get past Partizan behind a strong playmaking effort from Facundo Campazzo.
