Initially, Paul received a technical foul on the defensive end of the court with 22.6 seconds to play. The 38-year-old veteran then walked off the court with 6.6 seconds left.

Following the game, Paul explained that he had called official Tony Brothers a "TikToker" to provoke the first technical, and then expressed his opinion about Brothers having too much power, which resulted in the second technical foul.

"Old Tony. He talking to me, I talked back. I called him a TikToker, and I got a tech. It was the first one. I just said, 'TikToker,' gave me a tech. Second one, I just said that's too much powers. He gave me another tech," Paul shared during the post-game conference.

Paul later posted a TikTok of a referee Tony Brothers interview to his Instagram story.

Throughout his 25 minutes of action, Paul posted 12 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists.

The Warriors lost their third game in the last five matches and currently rank 10th in the Western Conference standings with a 36-33 record.
