Speaking to Sport Klub, Tornike Shengelia commented on the team's downturn and the upcoming Round 32 game against Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens.
"Obviously, we need a win now," stated Shengelia bluntly. "It's easy to focus on negative things now. We need to see what our mistakes were, now. We practically already know that. We have to move forward, we have to be more energetic and just look forward," he explained.
"We have big, important games coming up, and we're going to win all those games."
Later on, Shengelia had high praise for Panathinaikos.
"We will see how we will prepare. We start with the preparation for the match against [Germani] Brescia first, and after that for Panathinaikos.We know they are one of the best teams in the Euroleague right now," the forward said. "We have to go out on the field and be the best."
This season, the Georgian forward is averaging 14.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game, being one of the most productive forces of his team.
