"I think Petrusev will be ready for some of the remaining EuroLeague games," Bartzokas shared, via SDNA. "Things are going well with his treatment. It was nothing serious. He will not play in the upcoming EuroLeague game against Partizan [March 28], but I hope he will be able to help us earlier than expected."
Petrusev was forced to exit Thursday's EuroLeague matchup against ASVEL prematurely due to injury. Subsequent reports on March 22 indicated that he had developed bone swelling, sidelining him for approximately 15 days.
Petrusev should be ready to suit up for the EuroLeague Round 33 game against his former team -- Crvena Zvezda -- on April 4.
Since joining Olympiacos midway through the season following his stint in the NBA, Petrusev has been averaging 5.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 6.9 PIR in the EuroLeague.
