According to Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN, Porter is a subject of an investigation by the league into irregularities regarding prop betting involving him.

Two games have been marked as suspicious - January 26th's game vs. Los Angeles Clippers and March 20th's matchup vs. Sacramento Kings.

Multiple bookmakers have noticed increased and unusual betting activity regarding bets on Porter's individual numbers during games. According to David Pardum from ESPN, bets upwards of $10,000 and $20,000 were attempted to be placed on Porter's under for the game against the Clippers in January.

While the usual limits for such bets are around $1000 or $2000, Wojnarowski notes, an increased number of large bets were coming in on Porter's props during both matchups.

Porter is Denver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr.'s brother.
