Despite his incredible 7'11 height, it's unlikely that Abiodun Adegoke will ever play in the NBA because he still plays only on an amateur level. Big Naija also doesn't have a solid basketball background for the NBA, and there is a lack of evidence regarding his actual age.

The Nigerian sensation Abiodun Adegoke got into the spotlight once again. The 7'11 phenomenon dunked on the NBA legend Shaquielle O'Neal, with the video getting almost 5 million views on Instagram.

So, the natural question is whether Adegoke, also known as Big Naija, could make his mark in the NBA?

Well, to put it in short, it's very unlikely.

Adegoke already gained attention in March 2021 when O'Neal showcased footage of him dunking while keeping both feet planted on the ground.

Nevertheless, the most important fact is that the Nigerian player is still only an amateur player. He attended Segun Odegbami International College and Sports Academy in Wasinmi, Nigeria, and later played in the MPAC Elite Youth League in Dubai.

Moreover, there are conflicting reports about Adegoke's age. Conflicting reports suggested Adegoke could be anywhere between 18 and 23 years old. In 2021, Adegoke himself claimed to be a teenager.

Given the lack of evidence regarding his age and the fact that Adegoke doesn't have a solid basketball background for the NBA, it's highly unlikely to see him playing in the best league in the world despite his incredible physique.

His towering presence has made him a viral phenomenon, with his Instagram following now reaching 127k.

"I'm going to KEEP WORKING! None of them know my story, NONE of them know hwere I come from, or what it took to get here. I'm riding with my people! Time will tell!" Adegoke wrote in one of his Instagram posts.

However, if Adegoke ends up playing professionally, he would become the tallest professional player in the basketball history. Gheorghe Muresan and Manute Bol currently have the record for the highest players ever in the NBA at 7-foot-7.
