"I talked to the doctor, and he informed me that I tore a ligament in my right wrist, and I'm gonna need it surgically repaired, which takes three to four months," Beverley said.
At 35 years old, Beverley is playing in his 12th season in the NBA, averaging 5.9 points, 3 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game. He was traded from the Philadelphia 76ers to the Bucks before the deadline in February.
The loss of Beverley, who averages 19.6 minutes per game, will be substantial for the Bucks, who currently rank 2nd in the Eastern Conference with 46 wins and 26 losses.
