To start the second day of the round, Zalgiris Kaunas hosted EA7 Emporio Armani Milan in Zalgirio Arena. The Lithuanian team played without Rolands Smits, while the Italians received Maodo Lo and Shabazz Napier back in the lineup. Despite leading at halftime, Milan ultimately collapsed in the fourth quarter, as Edmond Sumner played his best game in his EuroLeague career.
Later on, three games started at the same time, as FC Bayern Munich hosted FC Barcelona, Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade welcomed Olympiacos Piraeus, and Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz played against Anadolu Efes Istanbul.
Barcelona got off to a hot start and never led the lead go, leading by as many as 22 points in the 2nd quarter. A similar scenario transpired in Vitoria-Gasteiz, where Efes controlled the game against Baskonia and captured an important victory.
Meanwhile, Partizan were up by 14 points near the end of the 3rd quarter but scored just 10 points in the 4th quarter, allowing Olympiacos not only to eliminate the deficit but to come out with a win in the end.
To finish the evening, LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne competed against AS Monaco in a French derby. ASVEL won the second and third quarters by a combined margin of 16 points but didn't manage to hold on to the lead, losing the final quarter by 15 points en route to yet another loss in the competition.
