Green had a heated argument with the game's referees, filled with profanities, according to the match's Crew Chief Mitchell Ervin. It was Green's fourth ejection this season.
"It just can't happen. I said what I said, I deserved to get kicked out at that point for what I said," Green said on his The Draymond Green Show. "If I'm all the way honest with y'all, I was kind of trying to turn my body and angle it to go to the bench, and I said what I said a little too soon before angling my body to the bench. But yeah, it just can't happen.
Green has been mired in controversy this season, ultimately getting suspended by the league after a series of violent incidents against multiple players. Although he underwent therapy and had to be reinstated by the NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, his controversial behavior has continued.
Despite the fact, the veteran forward says he has to make it so it doesn't happen again.
"I'm not gonna overreact, like 'Aaaah, man!' Stuff is never as good as it seems, it's never as bad as it seems. I know where I am, I understand what I'm doing moving forward, and my positionis just to make sure that's the exception and not the rule," Green concluded.
