A day later, the player announced he was going to play through despite it normally requiring surgery.
"The Bucks came and got me to make a playoff run… I can’t let my teammates, the coaching staff & the organization down. I’m here for the long ride… a championship run," Beverley explained through his podcast.
At 35 years old, Beverley is playing in his 12th season in the NBA, averaging 5.9 points, 3 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game. He was traded from the Philadelphia 76ers to the Bucks before the deadline in February.
The Bucks currently rank 2nd in the Eastern Conference with 46 wins and 26 losses.
