Head coach Nick Nurse has been fined $50,000 for aggressively pursuing and verbally abusing game officials, while guard Kelly Oubre Jr. has also been fined $50,000 for verbally abusing officials and making an obscene gesture toward them.

The incident occurred in the closing moments of the game, which the Sixers lost 108-107.

Oubre drove to the hoop but was denied by Kawhi Leonard's block, despite appearing to be fouled by Paul George. The referees did not make a call, and the game ended without Oubre having the opportunity to shoot free throws.

This non-call, later acknowledged as an officiating mistake, triggered Coach Nurse's frustration. He confronted the officials, needing to be restrained by his staff.
