The shooting specialist suffered the injury after being fouled in his team's 121-111 win over the Memphis Grizzlies on the 19th of March. While the injury was thought to be serious, the news of the surgery only dropped today.
In 64 games this season, Huerter has been averaging 10.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists on 38.6 from beyond the arc.
A valuable part of the Kings's rotation, Huerter has been receiving 24.4 minutes per game this season. With a 42-30 record, the Sacramento Kings are in 8th place in the Western Conference.
