The 39-year-old led the Lakers to a 116-104 win against the Brooklyn Nets, finishing the game with 40 points (13/17 FG, 9/10 3PT, 5/6 FT), 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 turnovers.
After such a performance, the natural question from the media was how much longer does he plan to play?

"Not very long," James said. "Not very long. I'm on the other side, obviously, of the hill. So I'm not going to play another 21 years, that's for damn sure. But not very long. I don't know what or when that door will close as far as when I retire, but I don't have much time left."
James averages 25.4 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 8.0 assists per game in 66 appearances for the Lakers this season.
