In an interview with Serbian newspaper Kurir, the club's president, Ostoja Mijailovic, revealed that the club is working towards the deal.
We are determined to continue cooperation with our coach, Zeljko Obradovic. The contract is in the final stage and will be signed as soon as both parties agree on a few more details," Mijailovic revealed.

In an interview withTelegraf.rs, Partizan GM Zoran Savic was also positive regarding Obradovic's extensionn.
"It's all ongoing. I don't think that will be a problem," the Serbian executive said without much elaboration.
Obradovic returned to Partizan in 2021, delivering the club the ABA League title in 2023.
