In the Club 520 Podcast, the former guard told expletive-riddled stories on Scott Foster and Tony Brothers, two referees still active in the NBA.
"What's the one cheating CP all the time? Scott Foster," Teague recalled. "I ain't like him. I called him a f***** h** a** n****," recalled Teague. "Every time I seen him, he ain't call sh*t. I was like, 'Damn, he f**ked me up," the player revealed that Foster apparently targeted him after the ordeal.
The next story was about Tony Brothers, which was rather disturbing.
"I ain't gonna lie [about] one ref though. What's the one with the big-ass eyebrows? Tony Brothers," Teague recalled. "N**** was trying to be cool. I don't like him.
I was young, we playing the Pacers, and I'm on the Hawks, and my momma and my aunt were sitting on the courtside," he gave the historical context as either the 2009-10 or the 2010-11 season.
"You know, they were cheering and sh*t every time I came in the game and whatever. I was young; it probably was my first year, maybe my second year. He pulled me to the side and he was like, "Man, who them h***?'" narrated Teague.
"I lost it. I went crazy. He was like apologizing, and I was like 'N**** that's my momma.' I started going crazy," Teague reminisced.
"He kept apologizing, but if you know him, he be trying to be cool. He be like 'How are you m***********s doing?' and be that kinda person," Teague said, criticizing Brothers for what he perceives to be the official trying too hard to be cool with the players.
It is no wonder that Teague has such stories, considering his lengthy NBA career.
Boosting a journey of 12 years in the NBA, Teague's last stint with the Milwaukee Bucks led him to the NBA trophy in 2021. He was also named to the All-Star in 2015.
