Billups was in the NBA as a player between 1997 and 2014, playing for teams such as the Detroit Pistons, Denver Nuggets, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Los Angeles Clippers. He then moved to coaching, and since 2021, he has been the head coach of the Portland Trail Blazers.
The point guard accumulated a decorated career, winning the championship in 2004 and being the Finals MVP that year, being named numerous all-NBA teams, and becoming All-Star five teams. His jersey was also retired by the Detroit Pistons.
As for Vince Carter, the forward played in the NBA between 1998 and 2020, most notably for the Toronto Raptors, New Jersey Nets, Dallas Mavericks, and Memphis Grizzlies. He also accumulated a multitude of accolades, such as being an All-Star eight times, being the Rookie of the Year in 1999, and winning the Slam Dunk Contest in 2000. He is notoriously known for executing "the Dunk of Death" over Frederic Weiss in the 2000 Summer Olympics.
