On the international basketball scene, Fernandez is a two-time FIBA World Cup winner (2006, 2019), four-time FIBA EuroBasket champion (2009, 2011, 2015, 2022), and three-time Olympic medalist (silver in 2008, silver in 2012, and bronze in 2016).
