Wade Baldwin and Kendrick Nunn get into an online beef / News - Basketnews.com
Baldwin pushed back against Nunn's words that he's the best offensive player in the league by saying he can't be the best if there are many players who are statistically better. Nunn later responded by claiming he wouldn't take advice from a player who averaged 3 points per game in the NBA.

After it was officially announced, the Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv guard gave a short interview to the EuroLeague, where he pushed back against Nunn's words that he was the best offensive player in the league.
"For him, he probably feels like that. He's made some big shots in situations, but there are statistics that show who the best offensive players are. There are all sorts of different net rankings that you could do, and he's not at the top of the board right now. You have Mike James, Keenan Evans, myself, Markus Howard, who's playing phenomenal[ly] right now. He's getting there," Baldwin began.
"He's definitely doing what he needs to do, and it's very impressive that in his first EuroLeague season as an American, what he's doing is great. But you can't call yourself No. 1 and best offensive player when you have guys that are statistically doing better," Baldwin declared. "But we'll see. The postseason and the end of the season is what matters most. He had a big game-winner against Bologna, so the race, the challenge could be on for who that crown is."
Baldwin's original comment at around the 3-minute mark:
The phrase about not being statistically better was quoted online, and Nunn went to the Instagram comments to express his own opinion about the matter.
Having spent five years in the NBA and being second in Rookie of the Year voting, Nunn looked back at Baldwin's numbers in the strongest basketball league in the world.
"I don't want no smoke with someone that averages 3pts for career average," Nunn declared.
The Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens guard later commended the EuroLeague for giving Baldwin the playbook to start the beef."Euroleague media good at flaming fire tho," Nunn wrote.
