The ABA League assembly has decided to raise the number of participating clubs from 14 to 16 starting from the 2024-25 season. A team from Dubai will also be included.

The Adriatic League will have 16 participants from the 2024-25 until the 2029-30 season, will raise the limit for the highest number of possible participants from a single country from the current five to six clubs, and the 16th participant will be BC Dubai, according to the latest decisions made by the league's Assembly.

Previously, the league had asked for a larger financial compensation from the UAE representatives. The demand was met last week. The deal with the Dubai organization will run until the end of the 2026-27 season.

The ABA League has unanimously (with the presence of 9 out of 11 members, without the presence of Buducnost VOLI and Partizan Mozzart Bet), adopted a decision for all the Company members to deliver power of attorney and extracts from the court register in the following 7 days, so that SC Derby could be registered as a member of the Company in the shortest possible term, and Borac Mozzart and Split could be registered as members from 15 June 2024.
